Antique Sirohi-vs-Alwar Bone and Silver Chess Set

Dated chess set made of bone with silver applications. Red king: Shri Man Maharaja Shri Abey Singhji, Sirohi Darbar SV1932 = 1882 A.D.; 9,5 cm Green king: Maharaja Shri Man Shri Himatsinghji, Alwar. Sirohi and Alwar are former kingdoms. In traditional Indian sets there is no queen but a "Senapati" = general. The corresponding green chessman has the following inscription: "senapati Ranjit Singh, Alwar" and the red one has the inscription ""senapati Samad Karam Hussain, Sirohi Darbar". The textile board is original to the set.
